SEPT 9,2008

I have smiled the most for the past 2 years… I see more reason to live and I absolutely see myself with a purpose. Don’t get me wrong there is no drama in my life.. actually I am thankful of what I have ever since I was a kid.. but the best thing that happened to me was 2 years ago. I can say that  the missing piece of me came (and it was about time it came…:)). This is such cliche stuff but I might as well let everybody know my biggest inspiration—> Alvin. To put it simple (coz writing about him in my not so personal blog is pretty weird), being with him makes me feel floating, bubbly, talkative(too much) and free. He may not see it, but he made my life complete and waaayyyy better. He can be so crazy at times (joker like.. LOL) but is serious when the time is right. I am amazed by his sense of practicality and his thirst for knowledge. I get to learn a lot of great things from him. I must say, he never tried to impress me… he never hesitated to share his own perspective about everything even if I would disagree… and that’s the best thing about him.. his honesty.. I always envied him for that since I am his complete opposite(opposites do attract! )… I always try to impress people causing me to be on the weaker side.. haha.. the truth hurts..But what’s good is he’s pulling me up to his stand… though our personality mismatch causes conflicts, we’re learning from each other… haha.. I’ve open a big part of me in this post.. so I guess I better stop before I spill more corny-whachever stuff!!!

Happy 2nd  Anniversary Alvin!!!

Note: as celebration, we ate at.. shucks.. i forgot the name.. but surely it has the words pepper and steak… well anyway, juicy meat (indeed their specialty) but the drinks and the pasta are a no no… No pictures.. grr…

after knowing that The Dark Knight claimed the number one spot on the imdb charts, the dark knight has become a must watch for me and alvin. Luckily, the professor didn’t attend our morning class. So in a spur of moment we were in trinoma buying tickets!

Comments on the 2 and a half long movie?
1. It’s not worth the number 1 spot on the imdb charts, personally the dark knight and spiderman seems in the same level.. Of course both movies have their own drawbacks, but they’re somehow just equal in my likeness.
2. The moment I knew Heath Ledger will play the role of Joker, I was set back since I still imagine him as an appropriate leading man for a drama movie and not a villain of a comic hero. Nevertheless, he was waaay better than expected. He was scary and so different from how he acts on brokeback (that’s a great actor! )
3. Ok the scenes were fast and some were confusing. I can’t help to think “How did they get there?!” or “When did they do that?!”. The transitions were not good, no wonder everybody wants to watch it again..

4. Batman’s voice is veerryyy rough.. I can’t understand anything that he was saying! Plus, his appearance were so.. dark.. He’s not a likeable kind of hero..
5. The leading lady was.. uhm.. ugly.. good thing she d***.
6. If the movie’s objective was to make a different aura when it comes to revived comic heroes then it was very effective! It had lots of explosions and thrills. It doesn’t get your eyes off the screen in a different feeling.. great suspense movie..I hardly laughed in the scenes plus it was so excitingly scary… definitely not for children to watch!!!
7. Although I’m not into action type of movies (Take note, I haven’t even seen Batman Begins) I enjoyed The Dark Knight. I somehow see it very Cool and Tricky.. Joker was smart for a villain.. he was very playful, very unexpected… and in how I see it, he actually won in this movie
8. Half face for me was annoying,.. very exaggerated.. even without him The Dark Knight would still be a hit as long as Joker is around..

for one day, me and alvin celebrated our monthsary the next day as well as the 100th year of our school….

Although i came up late for our date (which resulted with a very rough start ) , it went well. We did what we had to do in trinoma and still able to watch a great mystery movie… thank goodness SM had the screening earlier! phew!

As for the centennial, i was able to had a glimpse of the parade (since i couldn’t cross the street because of it!) and we still reached the very beautiful and expensive fireworks display.. i love the placing of our dormitory and i definitely loved that moment, watching something so

beautiful with alvin… well got to go.. i have to catch up with the studying part! haha.. at least i’m enjoying it….

hi.. this Saturday me and alvin went to ever.. I bought a tester, breadboard and a soldering iron in deeko.. it totally cost 959.. sigh.. money gone just like that.. owel… i’m kind of guilty since alvin had back pain but still went with me.. .. i hope he’ll be okay tomorrow, were gonna buy gifts! pls pls, i care about alvin so much..

but unfortunately, my soldering iron broke! we sort of detached  the connection,… huhu.. and after that i saw jc’s tester which cost the same but looks way way better than mine! sigh.. fine.. fine..

christmas is fast approaching.. i’m worried..

just got back home (molave residence hall) from our sem-ender date… it was tiring but still worth it(supppeeerr..) i miss hanging out with alvin and just talking with him about anything under the sun! I love our conversations even if i can’t level his thinking(he is super loaded with general info! newspaper addict and surrounding sensitive).. hihi.. here is how the story goes:

1. waiting waiting.. ooh… pacquia vs barrera round 1

2. hungry gggrrrblll(sound from stomach) ->Philcoa, Chowking waaahhh spicy hot!!! huhu…

3. trinoma! waahh.. tha cast of lastikman! i only saw iya and erich, who the hell are the others? tv deficiency…

4.buy pasalubong for my dear pokemon-lover sister

5. Landmark supermarket now open!

6.go to SM! Mr. Quickie…

7. look for shoes.. then dinner time!

8. Looking for the new jeepney terminal the got home safetly ^__^

I only wish things won’t be too different the next semester.. we will have different subjects to take which will limit our time from being together, this is the real challenge for both of us.. but i know we can make it.. we will continue to support each other and understand the respective situations that we might encounter..
